Hi everyone,

As a local Realtor, I’m always keeping an eye on new developments in Oceanside. Recently, I learned about a proposed mixed-use project that could bring 910 apartments and townhomes to the city. According to San Diego Union-Tribune, the project is being spearheaded by Lehi Property Development of Salt Lake City, and would be situated on a 67-acre site currently occupied by a Moon Valley plant and tree nursery along Oceanside Boulevard.

The proposed development would be located near the new Frontwave Arena and other planned residential developments along the Sprinter rail line, making it an ideal candidate for sustainable infill development. It also includes a commitment to 15% of homes being reserved for affordable housing.

While this project is still in the early stages of planning, it has the potential to significantly impact the landscape of Oceanside. I’m excited to see how the project unfolds and what it could mean for the future of the city.
